Engellilerin sosyalleşme sürecine etki eden birçok faktör vardır. Bunlardan bazıları; aile, arkadaş grupları (akran grupları), spor, okul ve kitle iletişim araçları olarak kabul edilen sosyalleşme araçlarıdır. Bu araçlar, engellilerin daha geniş bir dünyaya kurallar ve değerler içerisinde adapte olmasına (toplumsallaşmasına) yardımcı olurlar. Bu araştırmanın amacı Oryantiring Sporunun Engellilerin Sosyalleşmesine etkisini araştırmaktır. Spor ve sportif etkinlikler sosyalleşmenin önemli bir aracı olarak kabul edilmekte ve bu konudaki araştırmaların sonuçları da bunu doğrulamaktadır. Engelliler için spor, fiziksel gelişimin yanında psikolojik ve sosyal gelişim için de önemlidir. Engelliler sosyalleşme süreciyle beraber akran grupları ile iyi ilişkiler kurma, kurallara ve kararlara uyma gibi deneyimler kazanmaktadırlar.
Sosyalleşme sürecinde spor ve sportif faaliyetlerin bu sürece etkisi görülmekle beraber bu süreçte oryantiring sporunun sosyalleştirme etkisinin yüksek olduğunu söyleyebiliriz.
There are many factors that influence the process of socialization of people with disabilities. Some of these are; family, friends groups (peer groups), sports, school and media as socialising tools. These tools help people with disabilities to adapt.in a wider world with the rules and values (socialization). The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of Orienteering Sports for the handicapped child socialize. Sports and sporting events are being considered as a tool, and enquire into the important research results also confirmed it in this topic. In addition to physical sports for people with disabilities, psychological and social development, it is important for development. Impaired socialization process, along with the peer groups set up good relations with men, such as compliance, rules and decisions and experiences. The effect of sports and sporting activities in the process of socialization, as long as this technique frequently, along with this process, we can say that the effect of Orienteering Sports is very high on socialization.
