    Since the first traffic accidents in the world, human being has been searching for sustainable solutions and developing different control mechanisms. Eventough, the development of advanced Vehicle technologies and driver's license training programs, strengthening the quality of the road construction materials or continuous inspection reduce the traffic accidents, life and goods losses caused by traffic accidents still seem to be in a critical level. The aim of this study is to understand the role of speeding in traffic accidents, what it is calculated to be by the traffic police during and after the accident at the scene, and to research advanced technological applications that create a sense of "continued controllability". To sum up, this research reveals that it is necessary to start the technical research and legislate the use of devices, known as "Event Data Recorder" (EDR) in our country as soon and possible.
