dc.description.abstractBirey-çevre uyumu örgütsel psikolojide önem verilen bir kavram olmuştur. Yapılan çalışmalarda çalışanların örgüt, iş, grup, yönetici gibi çevrenin farklı düzeyleriyle olan uyumlarının iş yerinde önemli olan iş doyumu, örgütsel bağlılık, örgütsel yurttaşlık davranışları, stres, işten ayrılma gibi çeşitli davranışlarla ilişkili olduğu bulunmuştur. Bu davranışlar iş yerinde yordamayı amaçladığımız davranışlardır ve bu nedenle çalışanların çevreleriyle olan uyumlarının ölçülmesi ve uyumun ilgili olduğu davranışların belirlenmesi de araştırmacıların ilgisini çekmektedir. Bu derleme çalışmasında, birey-çevre uyumu konusunda yapılan çalışmalar incelenmiş ve bu kavramın nasıl tanımlandığı, birey-çevre uyumuna ilişkin teorik yaklaşımlar, kavrama ilişkin farklı bakış açıları, birey-çevre uyumunun farklı düzeyleri, ölçme yöntemleri ve ilişkili olduğu değişkenler tartışılmıştır. Tüm bu bilgiler çerçevesinde birey-çevre uyumunun örgütsel süreçlerde nasıl kullanılabileceği ve gelecekte ne tür çalışmalara ihtiyaç duyulduğuna ilişkin genel bir değerlendirme de sunulmuştur.
