Abstract
In this paper, we present a generic trellis structure design for EAPCC (Enhanced Augmented Product Code Construction) [1] for decoder implementations.The designed trellis structure of EAPCC codes have been compared with the trellis structure of GAC (Generalised Array Codes) [2] and shown that our designed trellis is gramticaly less complex than the trellis of GAC. ©2005 IEEE. © 2011 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
