| dc.description.abstract | Özet: Bu makale, cep telefonunun bugünün Türkiyesi'nde neden ve nasıl popülarite kazandığı ve hatta bir kolektif bağımlılık nesnesi haline geldiği sorusuna cevap üretme çabasındadır. Türkiye'de cep telefonu değişimin aracı olarak idealize edilmiş ve imgeler dünyasında melankoli ile örülmüş toplumsal yapının farklı deneyimi için yeni imkânlar yaratabilecek bir teknoloji olarak kurgulanabilmiştir. Yürütmüş olduğum etnog-rafik çalışmalar ve medya araştırmaları ışığında, bu çalışma, en aşırı hayalî uçta, bireylerin ve kolektiflerin hareketini, davranışını ve hissiyatını belirleyen tarihsel ve kolektif melankolinin içsel olduğu mevcut toplumsal yapıyı ürettiği 'yeni' kendilik hikayeleriyle sarsabilecek bir şeymiş gibi hayal edilen cep telefonu teknolojisinin analizini sunar. | |
