Retraction notice to On novel application of piece-wise fractional operators for a predator-prey model [Results Phys. 39 (2022) 105683] (S2211379722003722), (10.1016/j.rinp.2022.105683)

Abstract

This article has been retracted: please see Elsevier Policy on Article Withdrawal (https://www.elsevier.com/locate/withdrawalpolicy). This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor. In investigating concerns brought up on PubPeer regarding the article, the editor reached out to the authors for an explanation. Post-publication, the editor also discovered suspicious changes in authorship between the original submission and the revised version of this paper. In summary, the paper was submitted by authors, X. Zeng, S. Rezaei, A Althobaiti, Adinai Akmatova. During revision, the original author names were removed but the author names Kamsing Nonlaopon (New First Author), B. Günay, Shahram Rezapour, Musaad S. Aldhabani, A. M. Alotaibi, S.K. Elagan and Shahram Rezapour (New Corresponding Author), were all added to the revised paper without explanation and without exceptional approval by the journal editor, which is contrary to the journal policy on changes to authorship. The editor reached out to the authors for an explanation to the above points, but they failed to provide a satisfactory explanation. Overall, the editor feels that the findings of the manuscript cannot be relied upon, and the article needs to be retracted. © 2024 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
