Experiences of elementary school teachers towards blended learning implementation

Abstract

This research purposed to investigate the attitudes of elementary level teachers towards blended learning implementation in Turkey. The study was conducted by gathering data from 160 teachers working in elementary schools. To collect data, a mixed methods research design was implemented. Quantitative data were gathered with a survey instrument that measures the perception of teachers on blended learning and the qualitative data was collected by conducting individual interviews which had open-ended questions with ten participants. The results of quantitative data and qualitative findings indicated that teachers generally have a positive attitude towards the implementation of blended learning in elementary education. © 2023 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
