Abstract

Collaborative product development (CPD) can be defined as two or more firms joining resources for the same goal, where the first phase is the partner evaluation process. The choice of partner affects the performance of the whole CPD, and therefore it must be conducted carefully. This paper presents criteria set defined specifically for CPD partner evaluation and proposes an integrated fuzzy multi-criteria decision methodology for the selection of the right partner. The technique enables decision makers to evaluate criteria weights and the potential partners separately. © 2020 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
