Abstract
This study aims to select the best location for implementation of piezoelectric tiles. This decision handles objective and subjective criteria simultaneously therefore it is beneficial to use a multi-criteria decision making tool for the problem. As a novel approach, Best-Worst Method is chosen to evaluate alternatives and affecting criteria. Surveys are sent to the experts who have valuable experience on this subject and asked to compare criteria and sub-criteria pair wisely. After gathering the answers, the surveys are checked for their consistencies and the method is applied to find the importance of criteria. A case study is conducted for a campus of a university. The proposed methodology can be a good supportive tool to choose the satisfactory locations for construction of piezoelectric tiles. © 2020 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
