| dc.description.abstract | Koçluk sözlü çeviri eğitimi ve uygulamasında önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Lisans seviyesinde sözlü çeviri eğitiminde iyi yapılandırılmış bir koçluk aracının derslere entegre edilmesi fayda yaratabilir. Sözlü çevirinin sürekli ve bilinçli pratik gerektirdiğinden yola çıkıldığında öğrencilere kendi başlarına kullanabilecekleri bir koçluk aracının temin edilmesi önem taşımaktadır. Ancak, literatürde koçluk ve sözlü çeviri eğitimini bir araya getiren araştırma sayısı azdır. Makale, literatürdeki bu açığı kapamak amacıyla İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi’nde sözlü çeviri modülünde eğitim alan öğrencilerin almaya hak kazandığı konferans çevirmenliği dersinde 14 hafta boyunca yapılan bir çalışmanın sonuçlarını raporlamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, koçlukta yaygın olarak kullanılan TGROW adlı model dersteki sözlü çeviri pratiklerinde kullanılmıştır. Öğrenciler her hafta bir amaç belirlemiş ve bu amaç doğrultusunda Konu- Amaç- Gerçeklik Fırsatlar- Kapanış aşamalarından oluşan TGROW koçluk modelini kullanmışlardır. Makale, 14 haftalık çalışma sonrası yapılan yarı- yapılandırılmış geriye dönük mülakat, anket ve bağımsız bir eğitmenin deney grubu ile kontrol grubunu karşılaştırdığı performans değerlendirme sonuçlarından oluşan bulguları sunmakta ve esasen kalitatif analize dayanmaktadır. Aktif koçluk becerilerini sözlü çeviri sınıflarına entegre etmenin potansiyel faydalarını gösteren makale, öğrencilere sunulan koçluk becerilerinin onların öz değerlendirme, öz farkındalık ve öz yansıtma becerilerini artırabileceğini savunmaktadır. Çalışmanın bulguları koçluk araçlarının sözlü çeviri eğitimine nasıl entegre edilebileceğini aydınlatmaktadır. Bulgular, koçluk literatürü ışığında değerlendirilmekte ve bulguların sözlü çeviri eğitimini geliştirmede kullanılması umulmaktadır. | |
