Dark side of teleworking

Abstract

The breaking points of human history as it passed from primitive societies to the information society have changed the production systems and consequently the forms of employment. The digital revolutions experienced after the Industrial Revolution also transformed the way of doing business. This transformation has enabled people to work remotely with the help of technology, without having to be physically present at the workplace. Our aim in this section is to reveal the drawbacks, difficulties and disadvantages of working from home, which is one of the flexible working types, in terms of employees and employers. © 2021 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
