dc.description.abstractÜrdün açık arayla en fazla sayıda Filistinli göçmene ev sahipliği yapan ülke durumundadır ve2010lar itibariyle Ürdün nüfusunun yaklaşık üçte ikisi Filistinli mülteciler veya onların soyundangelenlerdir. Bununla birlikte, bu kişiler hala kendileri aleyhine ayrımcılığa uğramakta, hukuki vepolitik olarak yeterince temsil edilmemektedirler. Bu şekilde dışlanmaları 1970lerde iç savaşa dahisebep olmuştur ve Ürdünün siyasi istikrarını tehdit etmektedir.Ürdünlü Filistinlilerin kolektif çabaları küresel demokratikleşme eğilimini Ürdün siyasetiningeleceğine bağlamaktadır. Arap Baharını takip eden süreçte Ürdündeki kademeli demokratikleşmeçabaları bile Haşimi hanedanının elindeki ipleri gevşeterek uzun süredir devam eden hassas siyasidengeyi bozabilir. Konuya yakından bakıldığında iç siyasetin yakında karışacağı öngörülmektedir.
