Akıllı ulaşım sistemleri

Abstract

Hammaddelerin, petrol kaynaklarının, su kaynaklarının olduğu gibi yolların da bir sınırı bulunmaktadır. Araç sayısının hızla arttığı, kentlerin nüfuslarının yoğunlaştığı bu dönemde yerleşik kent yapısında yeni yolların oluşturulamaması, trafik konusunda gitgide artan bir sıkışıklık ve memnuniyetsizlik sonucu doğurmaktadır. Artan memnuniyetsizliklerin giderilebilmesi amacıyla merkezi ve yerel yönetimlerin en önemli yatırım konularının başında ulaşım yatırımları gelmektedir. İnsanların seyahatlerini daha kısa sürede daha konforlu hale getirebilmek amacıyla ARGE çalışmaları yapılmakta ve geliştirilen sistemler Akıllı Ulaşım Sistemleri şemsiye kavramı altında tanımlanmaktadır. Gelecekte Akıllı Ulaşım Sistemleri kavramı daha da önem kazanacak ve tamamen elektronik, insandan bağımsız sistemler ulaşımın her kademesinde kullanılmaya başlanacaktır. Bu kapsamda yapılan bu tez çalışmasının Akıllı Ulaşım Sistemleri kavramının daha iyi anlaşılması konusunda yardımcı olacağı düşünülmektedir. Yapılan çalışmada Akıllı Ulaşım Sistemleri kapsamına giren sistemler ve İzmir özelinde bu konuda yapılan çalışmalar irdelenmiştir. Yapılan çalışmalar ışığında yakın bir tarihte ülkemizin ulaşım teknolojileri konusunda bir cazibe merkezi haline geleceği sonucuna varılmıştır.

There is a limit for the roads as there is also for raw materials, petroleum resources and water resources. In the period with increasing number of vehicles in traffic and population in the cities, to be not able to design new roads in settled city structure causes a continuously increasing congestion in the traffic and so a dissatisfaction. With the aim of elimination of the increasing dissatisfaction, the transportation investments come first among the most important investment subjects of the central and local administrations. R&D studies are maintained to make the transportation of people more comfortable and shorter, and developed systems are defined under the title of ITS concept. In the future, ITS concept will be more important and the systems that are totally electronic and independent from human will be used in every step of the transportation. This thesis that deals with this concept, will be helpful for the understanding of the concept of ITS. In this study, the systems that are relevant to the ITS and the works that are being done in İzmir area have been investigated. It has been reached that our country will be an outstanding center of the transportation technologies in the near future with the help of performed studies.
